Traveling From Life to Life

Those who do not reject reincarnation know that each human entity develops across many lives. This entity is developing from its conception out of God until it is reunited with God in final enlightenment.

The path leads across mountains and through valleys. Development can only happen by falling and getting up again.

Each human life is located somewhere in this development. It is not possible to be otherwise. Each life forms a stage of this sublime development. As a stage in this development, no human life can be disclaimed. Each human life is a necessary stage of a good development.

Traveling In This Life

The development of the successive lives is based upon the development of each single human life. So in this life, too, are we traveling from God to God, but origin and ultimate goal are mostly, until our final life, outside our field of vision. Yet here as well do we find ourselves in a necessary phase of a good development at all times. We are precisely in harmony with the will of God. Each supposed deviation is based solely on our world-related consciousness.

Good and Evil

Matter can only exist through polarity; non-polarity is God himself. To be truly effective on the material plane, creation has to built itself by constructing opposites. The world is not conceivable without "good" and "evil", as we call these opposites. Indeed, as soon as we do not perceive things to be good or bad, pleasant or frightening, our thoughts are no longer of this world.

The Final Goal

The more we are able to say: "But then everything is good, even if I find it bad on the material level", the farther along we are on our way. As soon as we are able to say:
"All people - the drug dealers, myself in my worst moments, the selfish warrior - are in a necessary phase of development, all are exactly as God wants it", then we have reached the goal. Then our love will flower, which will encompass everything.

Make yourself free
 
Free yourself from depending on the past.
Feelings of pride, guilt and grief are as lead on your feet.

Free yourself from attachment to property.
You would take your real freedom.

Free yourself from the need of power.
Power and Love don't go together.

Free yourself from dependence on all that is lust.
The pleasures that are offered you are unmeasurably more beautiful than those you look for.

Free yourself from attachment to your knowledge.
Your steps would end where your knowledge ends.

Free yourself from dependence on all judgement.
Your Love would have thousand limits.

Free yourself from dependence on your own virtues, skills and abilities.
It is the trap, that cost you the whole of your path.

Finally, free yourself from the importance of form, shape and qualities.
God has no form and no qualities.

In the meantime, make conscious and grateful use of your experiences, possessions, power, desires, knowledge, judgement, your virtues, skills and abilities in this world of forms and qualities
and see them with joy as rungs on your ever-disappearing ladder to God.

Sound so sure
 
Many think, I sound so "sure". The reason is, that I have learnt, that it is necessary (for me!) to consider the last step of my ladder as secure before I can go on to the next step. If I do not do that, my last insight will not cause me to act accordingly. It would then only be an opinion, that can be true or not and it would not claim consequences in my behavior.

I am (still) a subjective thinking being, still my thinking, my "free will" binds me. I cannot avoid taking the consequences (karma or whatever) of what I do on the basis of my "opinion". That is why I think, that, as soon as my opinion is my conviction of the moment, it is my truth.

My truth is only a small part of the total truth, but for me, from my standpoint, it is the truth. Of course your truth may be different. (My next truth will be different.) Your standpoint and many other criteria are different. There is not one truth. Still, my truth is my fact, otherwise I could not climb the ladder. I have to take the risk to make a mistake. Possibly I see that myself and go back a step (or more steps), or my mistake causes an accident and I learn the hard way.

It is not possible to choose the highest truth from the first step on the ladder. Just as somebody who has just started to learn arithmetic, cannot judge which formula of Einstein is the most valuable.

We have to grow, step by step.

New Age Christian

The concept Christ existed long before Jesus was born. I indeed believe of Jesus as a perfect crystallization of Christ. Years in succession I prayed and begged to receive the spirit of Christ. First I asked Jesus, then I asked the spirit of Christ in me to help me in going on.

I know Jesus (nearly) only through books, that are selected by humans. I know Christ by listening to my inner voice.

I am a New Age Christian. Not in the sense that I am swept along by new slogans, but in the sense, that I think that we are grown up enough to decide ourselves, to take responsibility for our own growth. Being obedient because of a reward, because of punishment, of shame... does not make me grow.

Being obedient out of Love, of true respect, of insight: yes,
of course.

Different truths
 
When we try to talk about God and divine realms, we have the problem, that the words we use here on earth, cannot be true for the level of God, and that people very often do not understand each others words.

In my opinion there is no single set of rules, truths, that applies to everything. Every level has its rules, truths and realities, that may not exist on another level.

I think a *level* can be defined as every "place", "model", "perspective", where a certain set of rules is applicable, is true.

If the truth, the set of rules of level A handles rules that other sets of rules have in common, then level A is higher then those other
levels.

Climbing levels leads to God.

Good and Bad
 
Mike was about 11 months old. He was learning to walk. He fell and cried and got up. He fell again, did not cry and got up. A hundred times at least. Then he did not fall again.

Jane was learning to multiply. Sitting in her room at home.
5 x 7 = ???.
3 x 6 = 14. 5 x 3 = 15. 7 x 9 = 73. 9 x 3 = 27.
The next day: 9 x 5 = 45. 9 x 6 = 46.
Two hole weeks, before she got it.

John was not good at being patient. On his way to school on his bike he was not always correct with the traffic lights. When he was 21 he knocked somebody down who wanted to pass him in a queue. Now he is 50 and still has trouble now and then. He has to learn in a next life.

Mary slept with a boy when she was 14 years old. Now she is 60 and still very impulsive when she feels really one with a man. She will have to learn in a next life.

Did God stop loving Mike, when he fell and cried?

Did God stop loving Jane, when she wrote 7 x 9 = 73?

Did God stop loving John, when he knocked somebody down?

What did Jesus say to Mary M.?

God cannot change. God cannot react.

We can insult Him, subjectively and then we have to learn. In this
life or in a coming one.

God cannot be hurt.

The only thing He can is Love. We are the product of His Love. Including Mike crying, including Jane writing 7 x 9 = 73, including John, knocking somebody down, including Mary.

We have to take the consequences of our faults. Often in a painful way. Before we arrive, we have to learn all the lessons. He waits for us, is longing for us.

Let us not give energy to the words bad, hell. They are words, no reality. Sin is powerlessness, lack of insight.

Of course, we need order in this world, responsibility. We can even be called by our folks to correct and punish others. We then help to learn, to grow. In love!

When somebody hurts his neighbour... let's remember.
When somebody hurts us... let's remember.
When somebody hurts our child... let's remember.

Seeing the boss
 
There is a firm, doing publicity and they have a computersection, that does the addresses, organisation etc. and there is the real publicity section that does the contacts with clients and the creative part. The publicity section is not content at all with the computer section as these make a mess of everything.

A young boy in the computer section, Johnny, visits his uncle Bill, who happens to be the boss of the firm. Johnny tells his uncle that the atmosphere is so bad and how the work goes. Uncle Bills reaction: Don't worry Johnny, everything goes exactly as the board has planned. The computer section exists 4 months now and we don4t expect good work within 9 or 10 months.

Johnny, next day, tells his section boss about uncle Bill and from that moment on, everybody is happy. They see their mistakes and learn from them. They ask the publicity section to be clear and aggressive with their critic so that they can learn quickly.

Perhaps we may conclude 2 things here:
1. Everything can be perfectly agreeable as soon as we have the
information of the highest level.
2. It is good to talk to the highest boss, anyway trying to.

Seeking for truth??
 
We talk about seekers, and many people think, that one can seek for an enlightening knowledge. "Of course" that is not true.
Only after we give up wanting to know, we can understand, be, feel, experience ... and know somehow.

The seeking is not a seeking of something we can recognise as right or true. The "Right Thing" is endlessly much greater than we are and of another level of reality.

As we cannot know what we are looking for, we cannot seek purposefully. But we can long for the endless joy and peace. We can open up ourselves. We can let loose all the things we are clinging to.

The joy and peace we find then, is not anymore alternated with sorrow and anxiety.
