My New World II
As I see it, the essence of second tier is a next step in
the development of our consciousness, which enables us to see
everything as a necessary phase in a development of a complex
of elements.
A traditional way of life in a country, with its own habits,
rituals, religious insights should not be judged from outside.
Every culture has a history of all previous phases. These
phases can be described in the SD way, but there are
other sequences,
that influence development.
The phases cannot be skipped.
Only the more or less successful processing of a
phase can lead
to the next phase. Each phase is a necessary building block
of the next phase.
The impact of individual engagement can only be realised,
when the time is ripe. Of course individuals are the
moving factor
for the process of maturation, but maturation depends
on a cultural complex that cannot be well understood
by those
individuals.
Also cultures have a necessary phase of beige and purple
and red and blue…….
It is nonsense to judge a phase of a culture, or
the whole of a tradition, with criteria of a later
phase.
And it
is proven many times, that it is not possible to
influence the
development
in a positive way by using pressure from outside.
A tradition means individuality for its members.
To destroy a tradition takes the individuality from
its members
and often they will have a disintegrating influence
on society.
Not only cultures and countries have their necessary
phases of development. So has each individual. A
boy of ten years
old has to have moments that he is unbearable. He
needs that in order to know his limits. He cannot
become a
good grown
up without having been unbearable. Every person has
many learning processes where only the negative experiences
can bring him
forward. Those processes can last a long time (for
those
who accept reincarnation: sometimes many lives).
Of course the
boy needs “difficult” reactions of
his surroundings to grow. But only the reactions,
that are normal in
his tradition! Reactions
of foreigners don’t work.
My conclusion is, that second tier means the insight,
that every human being has the right to be as he/she
is. When
he disturbs society, he must be corrected. He needs
that for his
development and it is necessary to maintain order.
But at the same time, we have to respect his/her
human development
and
the phase he/she is in at a certain moment.
Second tier brings happiness. When we understand and respect
the neighbour and his phase in development, we will react in
a much more positive way and we will be free of irritation,
resentment and annoyance. When we understand the other country
with its different traditions, we will again react in a much
more positive way and we will be free of irritation, resentment
and annoyance.
Our respect will be responded.
Our appropriate reaction against hindrance
or attacks of course is correct. They will be a useful experience
for both
parties in their
own development.
